HOLIDAY DÉCOR ON A BUDGET
How is it the end of 2021 already? Does anyone else feel like the year just started or is it just me? If you need to play catch up on decorating your home for the Holidays like me, grab your chestnut praline latte, light a candle, and take notes – I’ve done all the hunting for the both of us.
Let’s get one thing straight. Home décor does not have to wipe out your checking account. You don’t have to choose good holiday décor or good presents for your girlfriends – this year, you can do both. Here are 10 pieces that will elevate your space for the holiday season ALL UNDER $30.
#1 $25 BOHO BEAD TASSEL by Shop Jitana
Shop Jitana is a woman owned small business with TONS of home décor that are perfect to leave up all year. They are all cohesive and add elements to your space that will cultivate an elegance and a simplicity to your daily lifestyle.
#2 $17.59 SHERPA THROW BLANKET by Amazon
Amazon Prime is the MVP. Next day shipping? Sign me up like yesterday. This faux Sherpa throw is the perfect cozy and creates a more inviting appeal to your home for when your brother’s new girlfriend is coming over for the first time and we want her to feel comfortable before Aunt Jan asks her when she wants to start having babies... or maybe she can use it to hide from Aunt Jan instead. Either way, she’ll be COZY.
#3 $15 GOLD ANTIQUE TABLE TOP TREES by Target
Ahhh, Target. The Holy Grail. A one stop shop. You truly could get everything you need for your home from here, but if my husband see’s ANOTHER Target transaction on the credit card, I’m dead. So here’s one piece of cute and chic décor that’ll give you that Target fix…until next time. Sorry hubby!
#4 $25.95 PERSONALIZED STOCKINGS by Porterlanehome on Etsy
There’s something about customizing things that make it feel more expensive. I’m all for the transitional home décor pieces that’ll last all year long, but I believe your home should also have a few components that speak specifically to a season or holiday. Personalized stockings are a MUST. These ones are simple and neutral and more importantly won’t hurt your eyes with the mismatched random prints and colors like typical stockings tend to do.
#5 $14 CAPRI BLUE MINI CANDLE by Anthropologie
#6 $20 GLASS TAPER CANDLE HOLDERS by West Elm
How DIVINE are these candle holders?! I saw them and couldn’t have them all for myself. I needed to share them with you. They give me Kim K Met Gala 2019 vibes. Remember her wet, rain dress look? A vision. Set these up on your mantle next to some picture frames or on the dinner table. They’ll be the hot topic of the night. Don’t forget to tell them you found them through Reya Designs!
#7 $29.50 WESTON HANGING IRON FRAME by Pottery Barn
#8 $6.99 GOLD RIMMED COCKTAIL GLASS by World Market
#9 $19.98 18ft GARLAND WITH LIGHTS by Home Depot
Never underestimate the power of the underdog. Home Depot has so many décor items. You can get this same looking garland for almost triple the price at any other store. Insane. Thanks Home Depot, you the realist! PS Anyone else wonder how little old Mary got to be workin’ there? I swear there are so many tiny, old ladies just loving their orange aprons and telling me which aisle I can find the garland in.
#10 $24.99 HANDCRAFTED VELVET PILLOW by Home Goods
Firstly, did you know you can shop Home Goods online now?! Heaven does exist! Okay, moving on to the pillow. It’s green, very green, I know. But hear me out, this isn’t ANY green. This is THE green. EMERALD green. On a velvet pillow. Hand made in India. Come on. It’s gorgeous. And if you’re like me, then most of your décor is neutral, right? Add a pop of color and bam it’s a classy, chic Christmas. And if the green still scares you, they have this in a beautiful, muted baby blue. But go for the green, thank me later.
I’ll end with this tip: buy holiday décor when they go on sale after the holidays are over and save them for next year! This way, you’ll be prepared and save even more. But if you’re a procrastinator like me, don’t worry I’ll have a new blog for ya next year with more must haves!
Happy Holidays! XOXO
